After weeks of late nights, intense studying, and back-to-back tests, AP exam season at Brentwood is finally winding down. With just a few exams remaining, students across campus are beginning to feel a sense of relief. For many, the end of APs marks a turning point - from the pressure of College Board assessments to the excitement of year-end events and the promise of summer.

“It’s a bittersweet moment that my AP Macroeconomics exam is over,” says Sahir T, Rogers ’26. “It was a tough year, but I’m proud I gave it my best and walked out of the exam happy.” For Sahir, his first AP exam was both challenging and rewarding - an experience that’s inspired him to keep striving in future academic pursuits.

“I’m happy with how my AP Calculus exam went,” adds Jonas B, Ellis ’26. “After months of preparation, it feels like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders. But I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way.”

Mr Collis Handford also reflected on his AP English students finishing their exam. “While the AP exam is the culmination of our course, it serves only as the beginning of my students’ writing careers. True, I am proud of the work they have done - but I’m more focused on the prose they will write.”

As exams wrap up, students are shifting their focus - to playing Spikeball on the fields, to spending time with friends, and to finishing their final projects and exams on a high note.

A huge thank-you goes out to the faculty, staff, and BFAs who taught the courses, organized the logistics, and supported students every step of the way. It was a stressful time for many, but Brentwood’s community stood together - studying late, cheering each other on, and pushing through.

It’s in moments like these that our school spirit shines. Much like Odysseus returning home after a long journey, we’ve weathered the storm, grown along the way, and now find ourselves nearing the end - tired, proud, and stronger than before.

Let’s make the most of every moment left on campus, because soon, we’ll all be wishing for just one more day in this beautiful place we call home.
