Brentwood Athletes join the Junior National Team

A few of our Brentwood students were selected to participate in the Junior World Championships selections and the 2010 CamAmMex event. There were 15 athletes named to the Men's "A"camp and 8 athletes named to the Women's "A" camp. As well there are 15 male athletes and 12 female athletes named to the CanAmMex (Junior B) squad. The Brentwood athletes selected for the "A" team were Martin Barakso and Eric Jackson; our junior men will be rowing out of Victoria starting June 29th. Adelaide Backer and Stephanie Ridenour, our junior women, will be rowing out of Welland Ontario starting June 29th .The CanAmMex team will be training out of London, Ontario starting July 10th,  Benjamin Coull and Andrew Crowley have been selected for that team. In addition to our students, our own Head of Rowing, Brian Carr, has been chosen to be the Assistant Junior Men's coach for the Canadian Junior A team training out of Victoria.
