Brentwood Tackles USA Rugby

Eight Brentonians represented Canada on Team BC against the USA National U18 Women’s Rugby Team Friday in a match on Gillespie Field. Graduate Brooklyn Navarette, returning Brentonians Avi S, Mckenna H, Danielle R & Delaney M, 2015 addition Danika E, and coaches Marius Felix and Steve Cowie, coming off a Western Canada Championship earlier this month, played a spirited match before an appreciative audience. The Brentwood girls also captured both the 7s and 15s Provincial Championships this spring.  The two teams will also kick off on this morning for a rematch at 10:00.
