Brentwood’s Rowing Results
The excitement and intensity of Brentwood’s Regatta are unmatched by any other sport. The competition is fierce, and the results are a reflection of the hard work and dedication that each team puts into their training. Yesterday, until early afternoon, we were blessed with another beautiful sunny day that allowed for perfect conditions.
Brentwood athletes woke up bright and early Saturday morning to take advantage of the calm waters. There were a total of 20 Brentwood crews in races, the earliest starting at 7:00 am.

Sunday’s Finals, starting at 7:00, have so far resulted in Bronze for the U19 Men’s 8+, U17 Women’s 1x, and U19 Men’s 2x as well as Silver for the U19 Women’s 8+ and the U19 Women’s 1x.
The Women’s Novice 8+ final was a thrilling race as it was for the final. The race was neck and neck the whole way, with each team pushing themselves to their limits. In the end, the home team came out on top, beating the visiting team, Green Lake, by just a few seconds. It was an exhilarating race to watch, and the cheers from the crowd could be heard echoing across campus. “I think the entire program put in a ton of work this year and now we get to race and show our speed. I am so proud of all of the Brentwood rowers for their unlimited determination and efforts and we are prepared to dominate at nationals”, says Anika E, Allard ‘23, Boathouse Captain.
“With the large number of athletes returning to the Brentwood Regatta, the level of competition was excellent. Race after race, the number of crews bunched together as they crossed the finish line happened more times than not. Brentwood raced exceptionally well in all categories, winning medals at the Senior, Junior, Novice, and Experienced levels for Women and Men” comments Mr Carr, Rowing Coach.
For the athletes, these results are a reflection of their skills, strength, and endurance. They have trained for months to prepare for this day, and their results are a testament to their commitment to the sport. For the coaches, the results are a reflection of their coaching and leadership, and they can take pride in the success of their teams.
This year's Brentwood Regatta is another thrilling showcase of the hard work and dedication that goes into the sport of rowing. The results of each race are a reflection of the Brentwood athletes’ skills and the coaches’ leadership, and they provide a sense of pride and accomplishment for everyone involved. The races were, unfortunately, suspended for today at 1:00 due to the wind conditions, but we’re back on track this morning.
