It has been our pleasure to welcome four new male BFAs this year who are already making their mark on Brentwood.

Mr Steven Rosts is the newest arrival to fabulous Alexandra House. Originally from Jordan, Ontario, Mr Rosts attended the University of Washington receiving his undergraduate degree in Education and his Masters in Communication, Marketing, and Leadership. While at university, Mr Rosts was a part of their renowned rowing team which catapulted him onto the Canadian National Team. As such, he has been an incredible addition to the Junior Boys Rowing team at Brentwood and continues to provide a positive atmosphere for our athletes to thrive. He shares that the community has inspired him to be his best as he hopes to “make an impact on the kids' lives”. Sloane S, Alexandra House Captain ‘25 says “Mr Rosts has been a great addition to our campus and I could not imagine anyone better for our house!”

Mr Seth Moyer is the newest addition to wonderful Whittall House. Hailing from Niagara, Ontario, Mr Moyer recently graduated from Yale ‘23 as part of their rowing team. At Brentwood, he is a major help within our rowing program; coaching the Junior Boys team while simultaneously inspiring our athletes to achieve their goals. After racing against Brentwood in high school, he was captivated by the diverse environment we fostered, thus inspiring his interest in becoming a BFA. Mr Moyer describes his time on campus so far as a big change, but in the midst of that, an “enlightening” experience. Isaac R, Whittall ‘25, states that “It is a pleasure to have him on campus and even better having his presence in the House”.

Mr Ethan Deline has seamlessly fit into his new role in Privett House. Born and raised in Kingston, Ontario, he studied Sports Management at Brock University. Mr Deline is well-versed in our programs helping out in the woodshop classrooms in addition to coaching the soccer teams. He describes the campus as such a “positive” environment that has truly welcomed him “with open arms”. Mr Deline accepted this position to gain knowledge and experience with the goal of soon pursuing his BEd (Bachelor of Education). He has brought a radiant spirit to Privett where Head Prefect, Matson W ‘25, says “On behalf of the house, we are thankful Mr Deline joined us this year”.

Brentwood Grad Mr Liam Watts, a Mill Bay native, has been warmly embraced by Ellis House. He recently graduated from the University of Victoria with a degree in Anthropology and Political Science. The return to campus for Mr Watts has been a nostalgic and “amazing” experience. He is a great help around campus and has started to coach climbing, debate, and monitor the Learning Commons. He shares that it is riveting to “see a different side of the school”, one that he had always hoped to experience. Jackson L, Ellis ‘26, says that “He is always willing to help and truly puts the students first”.

The hard work and dedication of these four new faculty members continue to enrich and inspire our school community.
