Steinbrink Kelly Helps Set Provincial Goals
Mrs. Pat Steinbrink Kelly, Head of Brentwood’s Modern Language Department, was invited to share her expertise and knowledge of language learning by sitting on a British Columbia Languages Curricula Consultation Committee which met last week in Richmond.
The purpose of this meeting was to review both the broad Ministry curriculum directions and the second language proficiency-based curriculum model developed over the last several years with the intent of considering how they may align. This discussion was also set within the context of an overall language learning strategy for the province. It was a very productive and engaging two day event and much was discussed with great esprit de corps!
Thanks, Mrs. Steinbrink Kelly, for sharing your expertise and representing Brentwood at this important academic initiative.
