Schedule of Events
Closing Day and Graduation Ceremonies will be held on Friday, June 16, 2023. The two ceremonies will take place at Brentwood College School on Campbell Common—under the BIG TENT. This is a semi-sheltered, outdoor venue. Families are warmly invited to attend all or part of the day, as it applies to their child(ren), and join us in celebrating these incredible students and a return to fully in-person closing ceremonies.
Closing Day Ceremony - 9:30 am PDT
This includes the Head of School’s address, the presentation of subject prizes to all grades, major awards for academics and citizenship, the Passing of the Torch, and the Valedictorian’s Farewell.
To-go lunch for Grades 8-11 & families getting set to travel from campus - 11:30 am-12:30 pm PDT at the outdoor basketball court near Gillespie Field
To-go lunch for staff - 12:00-12:30 pm PDT

Lunch in Crooks Hall for Grads, their parents & teachers - 11:30 pm PDT
Graduation Ceremony - 1:15 pm PDT (please be seated at Campbell Common by 1:00 pm PDT)
This ceremony highlights the individual introductions of the graduates and the presentation of their diplomas. Please visit the grad page for more details about the events surrounding graduation.
Both Closing and Graduation Ceremonies will be livestreamed for those unable to attend.
Details for Families
When arriving at Brentwood, parents will be met inside the gates to the school and directed to parking where student belongings can be loaded into the vehicle.
Families are responsible for their child(ren) from lunchtime onward for Grades 8-11 and from 4:00 pm onward for Grade 12s, Friday, June 16.
Any student requiring travel unaccompanied by their guardian(s) should refer to the Travel website for more details on making these arrangements with the school.

By Air
From YVR - Vancouver International Airport, you have the option to:
Connect your final flight to Victoria International or Nanaimo Airports
Travel from YVR, or downtown Vancouver Harbour if you are planning a stay on the mainland, via HeliJet helicopter or Harbour Air seaplane
By prior arrangement with the school, land a chartered or private seaplane (or moor a private boat) at the Brentwood dock
By Ferry
Depending on where you are travelling from, there are several ferry options:
BC Ferries offers the following sailing routes. Please note it requires approximately five hours of travel time from the Vancouver airport to campus using this method
Tsawwassen (Greater Vancouver) to Swartz Bay (Victoria)
Tsawwassen (Greater Vancouver) to Duke Point (Nanaimo)
Horseshoe Bay (West Vancouver) to Departure Bay (Nanaimo)
Reservations can be made for these routes and are highly recommended when traveling via vehicle to minimize the possibility of sailing waits. Please note you must arrive no later than 30 minutes before your scheduled sailing or your reservation will not be valid. Check-in opens 60 minutes prior to scheduled departure at the Tsawwassen terminal, and 120 minutes prior to scheduled departure at the Horseshoe Bay terminal.
