Into the Future

Brentwood’s university counselors work hard to shape the future lives of our students.  Every year, graduates find more opportunities open up with the help of our university counseling team. The diversity of universities that Brentwood’s students attend is enormous. With them giving gentle pushes to assist the students in finding their futures, acceptances from all around the world filter in through the counselors’ offices,  According to our newest university counselor, Mr. Timio Colistro, the university tour that many Grade 12’s attended in the fall was very beneficial. The record number of acceptances to Queens University this year is partially due to the week-long tour. He said that seeing the campus and feeling the vibe of the university enabled Grads to visualize themselves as a student there. Without this opportunity, many may have not applied.  Without the university counselors’ support and expertise, the task of choosing and applying to a university would be extremely stressful. The graduating class of 2013 has received upwards of 400 acceptances from 134 different universities in eight different countries.
