Mount Baker and the Sannach Inlet

Travel

The Brentwood campus is located in Mill Bay, a beautiful oceanside community on Vancouver Island, BC. It is approximately a one-hour drive from four major ferry terminals and airports located in Nanaimo and Victoria. There are a number of scenic ways to travel here.

Parents will receive notices throughout the school year regarding upcoming breaks and reminders to enter their child's travel information into the MySchool Travel System. Dates of leaves may be subject to change, however, families will be notified well in advance of any changes to these details.

Unaccompanied Student Travel

The management of travel plans is imperative for the safety of our students. Brentwood’s travel system in MySchool requires parents/guardians to log in to the Parent Portal throughout the year to provide details regarding their child's travel.

Details should include departure, arrival times, flight, and/or ferry information, and will allow our houseparents and operations team to ensure the safe arrival to and departure from our Vancouver Island points of entry.

Students travelling as unaccompanied minors will require a Brentwood staff member to assume responsibility for them at the airport. The staff member is required to stay and wait at the airport until the plane has taken off. There is an additional hourly cost of $30 per hour for this service.
