The Fall Midterm Trip will be spent exploring beautiful Vancouver, BC.
Vancouver is world-renowned for eclectic shops, affordable shopping, and high-end designers—and our fun-filled itinerary will include shopping opportunities at locations like Pacific Centre, Robson Street, and Gastown, as well as group visits to the Vancouver Aquarium, Fly-Over Canada, and more. I am excited to travel with you!
This trip includes all meals, admission fees, ferry fees, transportation, and accommodations.
This form does not guarantee you are on this trip; additional details, pricing, and consent forms will be sent to your parents/guardians should you choose ‘yes’ or ‘maybe’ on this form.
Itinerary - November Midterm - Vancouver, BC
November 2025 Midterm Trip: Vancouver, BC - Tentative Itinerary Summary
Dates: Thursday, November 6 – Tuesday, November 11, 2025
This is a suggested and tentative itinerary; it is subject to change.
Day 1: Thursday, November 6 – Travel & Richmond Fun
Departure: Meet at the school for a 11:00 AM departure. Travel by motorcoach to Swartz Bay.
Planned Activities: Take the 1:00 PM BC Ferries sailing to Tsawwassen. Upon arrival, travel to Tsawwassen Mills Shopping Centre for shopping. Lunch with cash allowance from chaperones.
Evening: Group dinner at The Old Spaghetti Factory in Richmond, followed by 90 minutes of bowling at Splitsville. Travel to the hotel and check-in for the five-night stay.
Day 2: Friday, November 7 – Space, Art & Improv
Morning: Breakfast.
Planned Activities: Visit the H.R. MacMillan Space Centre to explore exhibits and watch a planetarium show. Afterwards, the group will have time to explore Granville Island. Lunch with cash allowance from chaperones.
Evening: Group dinner at the Banana Leaf Restaurant, followed by attending a TheatreSports Improv comedy show at the Improv Centre on Granville Island.
Day 3: Saturday, November 8 – Sea to Sky Adventure
Morning: Breakfast.
Planned Activities: Metrotown shopping centre. Lunch with cash allowance from chaperones.
Evening: Group dinner at a local restaurant before returning to the hotel.
Day 4: Sunday, November 9 – Vancouver Attractions
Morning: Breakfast
Planned Activities: Vancouver Aquarium in Stanley Park, exploring Lonsdale Quay Market and the Shipyards in North Vancouver, afternoon visit to the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park, laser tag at Laserdome Plus. Lunch with cash allowance from chaperones.
Evening: Group dinner at a local restaurant before returning to the hotel.
Day 5: Monday, November 10 – Downtown Exploration (No Bus Service)
Morning: Breakfast
Planned Activities: The group will walk to Exit Gastown for an escape room adventure. This will be followed by free time for shopping in the downtown area. Lunch with cash allowance from chaperones.
Evening: The group will meet at Canada Place to experience two "flights" at FlyOver Canada. Afterwards, the group will walk to the Vancouver Lookout for a group dinner, followed by a group walk back to the hotel.
Day 6: Tuesday, November 11 – Remembrance Day & Travel Home
Morning: After breakfast, the group will check out of the hotel.
Planned Activities: Shopping at the McArthurGlen Designer Outlet, Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal to catch the 1:00 PM ferry to Swartz Bay. Lunch with cash allowance from chaperones.
Return: Upon arrival at Swartz Bay, the group will board a motorcoach for the final journey back to the school. Approximately 4:00 PM at the school.

Pack light, as we won’t have much room for big suitcases in the vehicles we are taking with us. Please bring good walking shoes, clothing for warm days and chilly nights, swimsuit(s) and towel(s) for swimming.

Friday, May 16, 2025
10:30am - Meet Mrs. Eisnor at Crooks Hall loading bay, and together we will load a van and car (to be driven by the chaperones).
10:45am - Depart for Ladysmith, BC.
11:30am - Arrive in Ladysmith. Time for exploring, shopping and lunch.
12:40pm - Leave for WildPlay Park in Nanaimo.
1:00pm - Arrive and check-in WildPlay.
1:00pm - Axe throwing (1x5ppl & 1x4ppl). Waiver required; sent tonight to everyone's parents. Please have these completed by Wednesday.
2pm - Ziplining / Tree Top Adventure ~60-90min.
Depart for Nanaimo; stop for grocery shopping enroute.
Stop at Woodgrove Centre.
Stop at a grocery store to purchase breakfast items and snacks.
Arrive and check-in at hotel; 5 nights at a local hotel/resort.
Dinner at a local restaurant.
Saturday, May 17, 2025
Breakfast in your room with purchased items.
Morning at leisure.
Shopping, lunch and exploring Parksville, BC.
Group visit to Butterfly World and Hamilton Hobby Farm (if you have an allergy to pet dander or hay, please advise ASAP).
Mini-Golf & Bumper Cars.
Dinner at a local restaurant.
Overnight in Parksville, BC.
Sunday, May 18, 2025
Breakfast in your room with purchased items.
Morning at leisure.
Shopping, lunch and exploring Coombs, BC, including Goats on the Roof!
Group visit to the North Island Recovery Centre.
Dinner at a local restaurant.
Laser Tag.
Overnight in Parksville, BC.
Monday, May 19, 2025
Breakfast in your room with purchased items.
Morning at leisure.
Drive to Cathedral Grove; explore the ancient forest along the boardwalk in chaperoned groups.
Hike at Little Qualicum Falls; maybe we can find the hidden swimming pool for a dip!
Go-Karting.
Bowling and Dinner.
Overnight in Parksville, BC.
Tuesday, May 20, 2025
Breakfast in your room with purchased items.
10:30am - Check-out of the hotel; board coach.
11am - Depart for Nanaimo, BC.
Woodgrove Centre for shopping, lunch & a movie.
Depart for Mill Bay, BC.
5:30pm - Approximate arrival to Brentwood College School; Crooks Hall loading bay.
Say goodbye to Mrs. Eisnor; return to your Boarding House.
