This Field Hockey team has been one for the century; there was never a dull moment. As a team, we have learned, and grown, and the relationships made this season will last a lifetime. When it mattered, we showed up. We brought the Island trophy home for the first time in 15 years. All the…
On Friday, November 17th, Brentwood students seized a valuable opportunity to engage in student presentations and a panel alongside peers from five other south Island schools – Claremont, Pearson College, St. Michael’s, Cowichan & Shawnigan. This insightful discussion not only introduced fresh perspectives on sustainability, courtesy of local youth, but also resonated profoundly with our…
From the outside looking in, one could assume that the Grade 8s are slightly isolated from the rest of Brentwood. However, when it comes to environmental advocacy and gardening, these young students are all in! Nathan C, Rogers ‘23 and I have been working to create an interactive learning space that educates the class on…
With second term upon us, so is the switch to second-term sports. As per the Brentwood standard, there is always so much happening. Judged by Conrad D, Paul K, Rover P, and Lisa H, the Entrepreneurship students delivered their presentations about the small businesses they’d created over the past month to…

Last weekend, the Brentwood rowers faced the elements with grit, overcoming rain, enduring pain, and achieving gains as they proudly represented Brentwood in two contrasting regattas: The Head of the Lake and The Frostbite Regatta. The Frostbite Regatta posed a challenging 1000m sprint, while The Head of the Lake Regatta unfolded as an incredible, strategic…
