Mark Isfeld Tournament – TBD

The Senior Girls competed in the Mark Isfeld Tournament in Courtenay this past weekend. With a strong start, the girls defeated Carihi, placing them in the top four. Having the afternoon off gave the perfect opportunity for the girls to relax and have fun. Despite the loss to Vanier in the semifinal on Saturday, we kept the game close against the AAA powerhouse, within four points at the end of the third quarter. Due to time rearrangement of the last few games, the girls will play the tournament hosts, Isfeld, in a home game later this week for the bronze medal. How’s that for suspense? Petra J, Mack ‘16
