“A Servant of Two Masters” Opens Wednesday

This year’s senior play is “A Servant of Two Masters” a satirical comedy set in Venice, Italy written by Carlo Goldoni. This slapstick play revolves around Truffaldino, a servant who gets himself in deeper and deeper trouble as he continues to serve more masters than he can handle! As he very quickly learns, balancing two masters gets tiring and confusing.

The cast has been working hard since the start of the year to try and make this play their own. They visited Victoria for some inspiration on their characters by watching “The Threepenny Opera” and since then have brought their characters to life. Working hard together on how the characters will be interacting and moving, the cast brings out their very best for this play. The rehearsals are tiring but that doesn’t dampen the spirits of this talented group of goofs gathered to deliver their very best.

With the set in place and fantastical costumes to bring the vintage Italian environment to the Brentwood stage, the cast now has to wow you and make you laugh with their hilarious characters and outlandish performances.
