Senior Girls Win A Close One

Leading up the Senior Girls’ game against Cowichan Secondary last week, the girls were all feeling the anticipation of another hard game. Having just returned from a difficult tournament in Campbell River, the team was feeling drained, but ready to come back out and fight for another win.

This was an important league game for the team.

The game started off well, and after a battle in Cowichan’s end, Takara C crossed into the 6-yard box and Mitali P delivered the goal that decided our win, but the game was high-stress until the final whistle was blown.

Winning this game was a great victory for the girls as it will increase our chances of making it to the Island Championships.
