Many aspects of the Brentwood experience are often overlooked. Take, for example, the campus itself. Besides the incredible facilities available to students and the breath-taking view of the ocean, the campus exhibits natural beauty far greater than that of other schools. From the budding gardens outside Hope House to the awe-inspiring sights of the Millennium Trail, natural beauty surrounds us. We are thirty-nine acres of trees, flowers, fields and strange beauties! This is the Brentwood College School campus. The campus is located on the southern tip of Vancouver Island in a small, vibrant community, Mill Bay. While being immersed in nature and keeping a healthy balanced environment, the campus maintains its privacy without being reclusive. Students get to experience everyday life as it is in the real world while continuing their studies and also participating in sports and arts. Mr. Brennan, our proud and cheerful landscaper, described the large forest areas throughout the campus as “wonderful and important.” Through the careful planning of Mr. Brennan’s crew, and the countless hours of work they do, is it possible for our campus to be such a sight. We cannot thank them enough. So next time you’re rushing from one class to another, take time to appreciate the beautiful landscaping, aesthetic buildings, and fresh ocean air.
