Cross Country to Peachland Provincials

The Cross Country team made their way to Elk/Beaver Lake Regional Park on Wednesday October 26th our for the annual Island XC Championships. The tortuous weather resulted in a slippy and very muddy trail, while the heavy rain affected how well one could see the course. After Co-Captain Olivia P gave the team a motivational pre-race speech, "It doesn’t matter what place you come in, it’ll feel good to run and then you’ll feel very accomplished" six of our Brentwood senior girls qualified to go to Provincials over the November midterm, taking place in Peachland. Madison H qualified as an individual, while Kyara A, Andrea M, Johanna H, Sarah R & Morgan W qualified as a team. Keaton H also qualified as a junior boys’ individual runner.
