The Junior Girls Basketball team has a 3-1 record in league play as we approach the middle of January. Convincing wins over Queen Margaret’s, Queen of Angels and Duncan Christian have helped solidify a young team. The girls’ only defeat came at the hands of, and on the home court of, Shawnigan.  Led by the coaching duo of Ms MacKenzie & Ms Tarrant, the team has tournaments in Courtenay, Wellington and Victoria each of the next three weekends – and before too long – a homecourt rematch against SLS.
