Despite injury and illness, the Senior A Volleyball team showed no weakness against the tough teams they came up against this past weekend at the Camosun Tournament in Victoria.
Losing only one game the whole weekend, this young team finished first in their tier. “The team is starting to really come together,” Hilary L, Mackenzie ‘20 enthused.
“It feels like our hard work is paying off,” observed Chloe C, Allard ‘21. It was a strong finish for their first sanctioned tournament of the season, and they are excited to continue their journey to success.
Upcoming for the team, is the Brentwood Volleyball Showcase against Shawnigan Lake School on October 15 in the Foote Centre. Lexus BJ, Mack ’20, Captain
