Brentwood’s Track and Field team of 10 students who had qualified at regionals headed up to Nanaimo to compete in the Vancouver Island championships last week. It was a competition conducted in extremely difficult conditions due to strong winds which led to the meet running well over time on the first day.

Despite the adverse conditions, Brentwood athletes performed admirably with six of our athletes qualifying for the provincial championships in Langley, June 9th -11th.

Isaac R – 100m, 200m
Luise H – 800m, 3000m, 1500m steeplechase
Yang L – 110m Hurdles
Mia G – 400m
