Diving at Koh Toa

22 March 2025Mr Mike Miller

The Brentwood Koh Toa (Thailand) expedition has been busy since leaving the school on March 13. We’ve had a full schedule since setting foot on the island.

For the past seven days, we’ve had two boat dives per day and a couple of night dives, with a wonderful Thai lunch breaking up the submersions.

An incredible variety of underwater life has been revealed to the crew! Memorable interactions with fish including warding off attacks from Titan Triggerfish, following reef squid on a night dive, watching coral fluoresce under UV light, and having an up-close, in-personal interaction with Remoras have all been wonderful.

A beach cleanup, hanging out with preschool kids on a beach, and a few lessons about conservation dives await us in the next few days.
