There Will Be Blood

There Will Be Blood

On the afternoons of January 25th and 26th, 22 Brentonians, students and faculty, made their way up to the Mill Bay Community League Hall to donate blood. For those interested in the science of it all, each donation would soon be separated into two different bags, one the blood plasma and the other the red blood cells.

Noud H, Grade 12 student and SPARC President, was donating for his 6th time. In the past few years Brentwood has been educating students about the importance of giving blood and what it can do for others. With this, the majority of students eligible (you must be 17 to donate) have been going to the blood clinics to do their part for the community. Well done Brentwood!

Sophie Carr, our student organizer of the event, observed, “The volunteers at the clinic were very impressed and appreciative with the number and enthusiasm of Brentwood students who participated.”
