Multisport

Multisport

The core concept of Multisport is to have fun in friendly competition across a wide range of activities, without the specific pressure of winning medals and placements in the wider athletics community. Much like a traditional “physical education” class, this spring-term sport allows students to enjoy athletics across many of the campus venues—from the gym to the turf fields, grass fields, and other facilities—where the emphasis is on effort and attitude.

Being inclusive and putting forth your best possible effort will yield the greatest rewards in Multisport. It is common for athletes in this program to be highly skilled in one sport, and never have tried another. Opportunities to be learner and leader will shift and vary as the program runs, and the pure joy of competition and play without being preoccupied with team seeding and provincial placements opens new possibilities for taking risks and making friends, as well as learning excellent fitness habits.
