On Sunday, September 20th, the ladies of Alexandra House and the gents of Whittall got together for pizza and bonding. Pizza was served with salad and drinks and members of both houses mixed and mingled while having quite the dinner with housemates and friends – while socially distanced of course.

The events that have taken place within the past six to seven months have forced people across the world to maintain certain rules and protocols. Even with these rules and regulations, the members of Alexandra and Whittall made it a night to remember as Will P, Whittall ‘22, mentioned: “Over the past six months we have had little to no interaction with any humans –  especially females – so it was nice to be able to spend time with the ladies of Alex.” Evenings like these are what build a strong foundation for the Brentwood community and form lifelong friendships between brother and sister houses.

The evening took place on the plaza outside the Ross Academic Building in the lovely oceanfront setting. The view from the plaza added positive vibes to the already outstanding environment created by both houses. Cameron M, Whittall ‘22 commented: “The nice weather on Sunday allowed for a perfect view of Mt. Baker which added to the quality of the waterfront view.” The Brentwood campus is enough to make any event outstanding.

Like any great event, this one had come to an end. This night would not have been possible without the expert planning and dedication of House Captains Alice S and Tareq A. Alice commented, “As the Alex House Captain, I am so excited to plan more bonding events with Whittall – the pizza party was just the beginning!”
