BC Summer Games basketball results reveal that Mrs Patel and Ms Ramundi will have a host of hoopsters to handle come September. Five of the incoming Grade 8s represented the Island in basketball action this weekend. Ella D and her Vancouver Island teammates captured Silver and Bronze in girls’ 3×3 action. Jensa NG was an alternate and Ms Jillian Napier helped coach the team. In 5×5 action, Miranda NP also represented the Island. In boys’ action, Dylan G and Jayden L, coached by Mr Blake Gage, earned Gold in 3×3. All the best Mrs Patel & Ms Ramundi; these kids are sure to be a slam dunk! You’d better play zone defence!
