Entrepreneurship 12 – Project Innovation

24 October 2013Danielle A

Last week, Brentwood’s Entrepreneurship 12 class participated in the 10th Annual Innovation Project. The class was randomly divided into groups which were asked to create a business venture and market it to the school. After the project, the groups participated in a “Dragon’s Den” style competition. Business leaders from the Cowichan Valley came and listened to each group present their product. Two awards were given, one for the most innovative, and one for the highest return on investment. This year’s winners for innovation, as chosen by the judges, were Justin A, Feather-Dawn F, Jason H & Katerina L. The group which received the highest ROI included Rissa A, Jackie J, Matt G, Skyler R & Damian M with their crewneck sweaters. Congratulations to all participants for the quality of work presented and to all of the groups which donated a portion of their profits to a variety of local charities making the 10th Annual Project Innovation a huge success for everyone. Thanks also to Mr. Lawrence and Mr. Colistro for coordinating the project. Danielle A, Alex ‘14
