Grad Class Bursary ’24

At the beginning of the year, the Centenary Grad Class set a goal to establish an endowed bursary fund in our name. This will provide financial assistance to a student each year. Not only have we worked toward achieving this goal but many parents have also provided support through the annual giving of donations, so first I’d like to say thank you to everyone who has helped to support our initiatives. We really appreciate your consistent commitment to a really deserving cause. I’m proud to say that because of our efforts, our grad class was able to raise $15,757 – and parent donations are nearing $60,000 – to establish the Class of 2024 bursary.

All of this means that as of September 2024, every year a student in the school will be able to receive financial assistance from the Class of 2024 Fund. Our goal is for the endowed bursary fund to reach $100,000 – so parents if you’re feeling generous, this runs throughout the summer.

This is part of our legacy at Brentwood, especially as the Centenary Grad Class and it is our link to future Brentonians. De Manu en Manum. From Hand to Hand.

So on behalf of the Class of 2024, I would like to present our cheque to Mr McPherson. Thank you.
