Happy Birthday, Mr. Allpress

Mr. John Allpress, Deputy Head of School, celebrated this 60th birthday today. Unsurprisingly, he spent it at the school he has devoted himself to for the past 32 years. Fittingly, he was serenaded by a hearty rendition of “Happy Birthday” by the whole school at Assembly.
Over more than three decades at Brentwood, John has served the school as Assistant House Parent, House Parent of Rogers, coach of rugby and rowing, Deputy Head of School, and Director of Advancement. He is now our most recent sexagenarian. Congratulations, John.
