relation of inside /outside using a natural <st1:stockticker w:st=”on”>form</st1:stockticker>     looking/seeing
What is looking/seeing?  How do we perceive?  We perceive the world through physical contact with objects and experiencing our senses.  It is this act of “experiencing” perception of form, texture, color, relationship, line that we begin to exercise authentic choice-making.  With conscious perception, (looking/seeing), we acquire an invaluable tool for gathering information that aids in our choice-making, not facts that an instructor relates.  Drawing is a useful tool that slows us down and encourages looking/seeing. The emphasis is not on doing a “good” drawing.  It is the intent and input of the student that will give back to the student. This project uses a natural object, (a pepper) and drawing as a tool to facilitate looking/seeing the relation of inside/outside within a form.
