This season was a special one. The team started the season with many wins against some of the top teams on the Island, including Oak Bay and Claremont. Our season was jam-packed, with an away tournament every, single, weekend: playing pregame music, talking with each other on the bus, and creating bonds with new and old friends for years to come is what we did. We worked hard on and off the court, winning and losing together.

Coming into our first home game, Mid-Islands, we had high hopes of qualifying for Islands, but, sadly falling short in the semi-finals, our season came to an end. Our last game ended positively with a promising win against GISS.

I would like to thank Coach Topper and Coach Abby for all the hard work they put in this season to help us throughout everything and always making us laugh. While the 2024 season has come to an end, we should still be very proud of ourselves and the way we pushed through challenges, supported each other, and built a season full of unforgettable memories.
