Junior B Boys Basketball 1

Our Junior B Boys Basketball team this year consisted of multiple league games, tournaments, and long, noisy bus rides – which seemed to be Mr Warner’s favourite.

The season began with the Mid Island League where we posted a record of 6-1 and won the playoffs against season rivals Shawnigan thanks to some late-game heroics from Jagre K, Privett ‘23 and Jaxon M, Rogers ‘23. In tournament play, we snatched a fourth place finish at the ISA championships with a record of 2-1. The Grade 9 Island championships had a lot of ups and downs but we came away with a third place to wrap up the year, thanks to the buzzer-beating antics of Jaden L, Ellis ‘23.

It was a great year for all – the improvements in the way we played were immense. We would like to thank Mr Warner, the food services and laundry teams, and all of the bus drivers. This season would not have been possible without you. The future of Brentwood Junior Basketball looks very bright.
