Performing in Poland

Sally S recently participated in the World Dance Championships in Poland as part of the 20 member Canadian team against 30 other countries. Sally competed in the 16 and over category. In the Jazz Large Formation Sally placed 5th; in the Modern Large Formation, 4th; and in the Ballet Large Formation Sally earned a Silver medal, finishing second to the German team. Sally described it as “a great experience meeting the other countries’ dancers”. She added “I will never forget this amazing opportunity that I was lucky enough to share with very talented and kind choreographers and dancers.” Sally will return to her work in the Brentwood Dance studio in January.
