Rowing BC announced the latest awards based on recent BC RADAR submissions. BC RADAR is a program in the province that takes a multi-layered look at an athlete’s development. This program rewards athletes based on three areas that have been identified as important for rowing: physiology, performance, and skill.
Athletes receive a score for each of the above areas and their total score is added up to create a BC RADAR score. From this score athletes are assigned an Academy Level. The Academy Levels are as follows: Provincial Elite, Provincial Development, and Club Elite.
Provincial Elite: Eric J
Provincial Development: Martin B
Club Elite: Adam G, Andrew C, Evan M, Connor M Congratulations to these six rowers!
