The Regatta Party

Brentwood’s 49th Annual Regatta recently ended and the weekend gave the students an opportunity to partake in several activities. The Regatta Party was one fun way for students to celebrate the weekend and to enjoy great music and showcase their dance moves. Saturday night, two of our school’s unsung heroes put on a show for both Brentwood students and visiting rowers. The DJ duo of Omkar V & Austin O, both Ellis ’19 mixed and spun their way through an electric night hosting the evening’s party. Mariia S observed, “From pop and rap hits to the oldies, the crowd was on their feet and enjoyed the party.” Omkar and Austin have been DJing since their Grade 11 year and put in loads of work behind the scenes. The two create a spectacular atmosphere and help bring o life all the events they play. The pair have previously DJ’d several Open Houses and the Orientation Week Dance.
