Mr. Hardie’s Biology 11 class teamed up with the Environment and the Future Grade 9 class, led by Mrs. Richardson, to combat climate change "one tree at a time". After a brief discussion of how to select a suitable planting site, the students got busy with shovels and spades, planting a total of sixty seedlings. They calculated that hundreds of tons of carbon dioxide would be removed from the atmosphere over the lifespan of the trees!
