Ticking Along in the World of Business

Brentwood’s business course offerings continue to prepare students for the world of opportunity. Given the importance of financial literacy, both personally and professionally, Brentwood strives to develop a student’s business acumen.

The business department is proud to unveil a stock market ticker display. The new stock ticker is already engaging students taking business courses as they navigate the upcoming investment simulation which will involve students constructing their own investment portfolio. Students will learn how to analyze stocks including assessing a company’s financial statement and building a diversified investment portfolio.

As well, students have the opportunity to learn more about investing by attending the weekly Business Club meetings run by Fredrick O, Whittall ‘25 and business teacher, Mr. Justin MacDonald, CPA.
