Whittall House

Whittall House

There are too many memories or potential jokes to start this one off with, so I reckon I’ll pass on a line that’s fire: the house has seen a few too many of those.

This year in the house felt different from the rest. I’m not sure if that’s because there was no longer a grade older than us or because every grade was now younger than us. I don’t know if every grade 12 student always says their grad year was different. This year has had its challenges for sure, but I think everyone got better as a whole.

A word of advice to the grade 9s: it’s fully over for this grade. We did the best we could, but, wraps. The grade 10s have some potential. I don’t know who, but I feel like there is. To the Grade 11s, you lot are the same age as me, I can’t even say anything really, you’re all gonna be well chilin.

When I think of highlights of the year, I think of Kang Cho in interhouse basketball, Kang Cho in interhouse volleyball, Kang Cho in interhouse football.

I hope that this year has helped everyone in the house improve to whatever extent you consider impactful, and had a good time whilst doing it. I know I did. So thank you very much, Whittall House. These four years have been pretty alright.
