Game, Set, and Match for the SAC

Ms. Marci McLean, longtime Brentwood parent and Head Tennis coach, is taking on the role of SAC Faculty Sponsor. For 2014-15, she will be sharing the role with Mrs. Susan Quinton, the current SAC Faculty Sponsor, who will stay on for one more year to mentor her successor in the various functions of the Faculty Sponsor role, and to help carry on the important contributions and fine traditions of this student-led organization. Marci will take over the reigns as the sole SAC Faculty Sponsor in 2015-16. In concert with Mr. Felix, Assistant Head – Campus Life, the SAC Faculty Sponsor plays an important mentorship and leadership role to the SAC which coordinates student social and fund-raising activities. As an adult influence within the group, Marci will bring maturity of judgment, compassion, reasoned debate and effective planning and presentation skills to her team of over 30 student volunteers. For the past 6 years, Marci has been the Head of the tennis program. She is also a Registered Dietitian with Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology, and Food and Nutrition. Marci resides in Mill Bay with her husband Cameron, and two children, Amanda, Alex ‘13 currently at Stanford University and Nick, Whittall ’15. She is very excited to be expanding her role within Brentwood. Marci is game, set, and the perfect match for this important role in our school community.
