ISA Bronze – Junior A Field Hockey

This past weekend the Junior A Field Hockey team played in the ISA Tournament at Shawnigan Lake School. On Friday we won both of our games, and on Saturday we ended the tournament with a dramatic 0-0 game against Crofton House. The tie led to a shootout. In a shootout each team select five of their best hitters; each player gets eight seconds to make a goal. Our amazing goalie, Brianne P, Mackenzie ‘17 impressively blocked many goals, leading to yet another tie. We then went into sudden death: the first team to score a goal would win. Needless to say we did it and won bronze. We received our medals with pride, making it a great end to the week. Abig thanks to our amazing coach Ms. Jackson, and the team for playing so well.
