It was as if Chaac himself had descended to the pitch last fateful Tuesday, bringing a myriad of precipitate with him. The Brentwood Soccer B Team slipped on their soaked uniforms as the torrential downpour continued, but when the first whistle blew, the number of soccer balls hitting Shawnigan’s net was comparable to that of the rain droplets hitting the ground. Stout goalkeeping from both Charlie M, Whittall ‘15 and Victor R, Whittall ‘16 proved to be a force to be reckoned with, allowing Brentwood’s attack to flourish and ultimately score 6 goals: one by Adrian D, Rogers ‘16, two by Will M, Privett ‘16 and a phenomenal hat trick by Kabir B, Rogers ‘15.
