It is big, it is bad, and most importantly, it is back. Electricity was in the air in wake of what would undoubtedly be another Airband to remember. As expected, it did not disappoint. A capacity crowd flooded into the T. Gil Bunch Theatre at 7:30pm. The limelight beckoned to kick off what would be an unforgettable show. Traditionally, a brief introduction by the MCs is given to begin proceedings. This year, the ambitious duo revved the Brentwood engine with a delightful song, one that featured a guest appearance from the entire Privett House grad class. Mouths were watering. Necks were craned; this was merely an appetizer.   A flurry of eager beaming faces was the backdrop to an equally energetic lineup of opening acts. Whittall and Alex wooed the audience with their curtain raising country medley, and were closely tailed by a busty apparatus of Ellis boys performing their eye catching One Direction mock, an act that would ultimately go on to be crowned the winner of the glorified competition, and would “light up” the building like nobody else. Flexing was prohibited; that was, until a riled up Whittall crew spearheaded by seniors Garey G, Whitall ‘15 and Ibrahim S, Whittall ‘15 set foot on stage. The bounds were pushed, shoved, and subsequently crossed in dramatic fashion as the Privett boys silenced their critics, while also yielding a plethora of laughs in the process. Joe Small, Privett ‘16 acrobatically wormed his way across the stage, while the charismatic Trevor E, Privett ‘16 and his entourage blasted onlookers into a state of dazzled confusion. “It was solid, I mean, we only got one X" quipped Joe S.  When the dust had settled, and the judges had begun deliberating, a curtain-closing grand finale featuring an abundance of selfies kissed what had been a long-expected night goodbye. Ellis stole the spoils in landslide fashion, claiming first place in both the junior and senior categories. Whitall/Alex snatched a constellation in the midst of a promising mixed category with their act “Flawless". Tears were shed. Hearts were melted by music and by an array of talent.  Until next year, Airband, we bid you farewell.  Junior 3rd Rogers/Allard "Hey Baby" 2nd Whittall/Alex "Want You Back" 1st Mack/Ellis "Say My Name" Mixed Jr & Sr 3rd Rogers/Allard "Wiggle & Trap Music" 2nd Hope/Privett "Safety Dance" 1st  Whittall/Alex "Flawless" Senior 3rd  Whittall/Alex "No Flex Zone" 2nd Mack/Ellis "Big Spender" 1st  Mack/Ellis "If Ya Getting Down" OVERALL RESULTS  4th Place  Hope/Privett 3rd Place  Rogers/Allard 2nd Place  Whittall/Alex  1st Place  Mack/Ellis Robbie S, Privett ’15
