Senior Boys Basketball Stings Scorpions

The Senior Boys Basketball team took the amphibious journey to Salt Spring Island on Thursday to tip off their second league game against the Gulf Island Scorpions. Many baskets were exchanged early on in the game but Brentwood, through a combination of hustle and defence, began to pull away and eventually stretched it to a thirty point game at the half. In the second half, the bench came alive as Peter E, Ellis ‘16 converted some tough two pointers and splashed in a three, along with the help of some key players off the bench. The boys came away with a strong win and plan to use what they’ve learned in the coming days as they battle with Shawinigan in the Showcase Classic on Tuesday, January 27 in the Woodward Sport Sportsplex.
