Countdown To Playoffs

Tipping off the first game of Brentwood’s classic Countdown to Playoffs Tournament, the Senior Boys came out strong last Friday. After a dominant win in their first of four games, the team dove into their second, and throughout the battle, inch by inch Brentwood pulled away from their opponent. This took us into the semifinals. As soon as the semifinal game started it was clearly going to be an exciting game. After thirty-nine minutes of the lead exchanging between the two teams, in the last minute the opposition took the game. After this devastating loss, the team quickly bounced back and in their final game managed to take home the bronze medal (of 16 teams) for the tournament. During a long two days of intense basketball, the team definitely made some big improvements and we are sure to be using what we have learned to help prepare ourselves for the quickly-approaching playoffs.
