Senior Volleyball Gets Started

Last weekend the Senior Girls Volleyball team travelled to UBC for their first tournament of the season. Competing in Tier 1 in the Gold division, we had a strong weekend of volleyball after only having two practices together. We really came together as a team as we struggled and succeeded against some of the toughest teams in our province. Although we did not win all of our games, we took many to a third set and won some tough three set matches: we fought hard for these wins. The weekend was a great way to start the season as we finished 2nd in Tier 2 of the Gold division, placing us in the top twelve of 48 teams competing. After such a strong start to our season, we are very excited to see what more we can achieve this year. Natalie M, Mackenzie ‘16
