Student Vote 2015

With the visit of the four local candidates at Tuesday’s All Candidates Meeting fresh in our minds, Brentwood students headed to the polls for the Student Vote yesterday. Thanks to Mr. Neil Bryant and his team of organizers, we all had a better idea of who we would be voting for after hearing the candidates answer our enquiring questions.
The Grade 8 class was honoured to run Brentwood’s Student Vote for Canada’s 2015 Federal Election. We had an impressive turn out, with 80.2% of the student body coming to vote. It was a wonderful opportunity for all of us to experience the voting procedure before the majority of us were of age.
The results will be released on October 22nd at the Assembly.
