This year Brentwood students again helped with the salmon relocation at the Millstream site. Since the Coho are unable to traverse the numerous obstacles to the spawning grounds, local volunteers trap them, scoop them out and move them by truck to higher reaches. This year the final numbers of fish captured and moved this year was well over 2000. Some of them went to the Goldstream hatchery where returns this year were low. A net gain all round!
