Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) education features in several Brentwood courses including Physics 12. Students in this course carry out projects that require them to design electronic circuits which are then controlled by software they write. Introducing students to some coding is, as we have been told by alumni, one of the most valuable things we can do for them in senior sciences, particularly to prepare them for courses in engineering.
