Brentwood oarsman Tom L performed very well last month at the State Championships in his native Australia. His crew, led by Australia’s U23 men’s coach, won the senior men’s 8+ race. Along with Tom, the crew had a current Olympian, two current world lightweight champions, and two national champions. State historians believe that Tom, 17, may be the youngest boy to row in a winning senior men’s 8+. He also rowed 6 seat in the Under 23 8+, placing 3rd. Congratulations Tom!
