Comparative Cultures 12 is a course designed to give students an understanding and knowledge of the accomplishments of past civilizations. This course will examine the beliefs, accomplishments and values of Global civilizations that have greatly influenced the world.  This course explores how the diversity of a single culture deepens our understanding of others, while examining how the interplay between belief systems, social structures, and language shapes artistic expression and how geographic factors drive the evolution of agriculture, trade, and complex societies. Learning in this course occurs through group discussions, reading and analysis, and guided and self-directed inquiry projects.
