Brentwood’s Arts program is one of the three key elements in our excellent tripartite system. Whereas I feel at home in the debating classroom, others find comfort behind a band saw in sculpture class, painting in the Centre for Art and Humanities, playing in the Asper Room, or standing on stage of our wonderful T. Gil Bunch Centre for the Performing Arts. With a huge variety of art options available to Brentwood students, the choice of what we will choose and how much we will choose is up to us. Arts at Brentwood run from 2:00 in the afternoon all the way to 6:00 in the evening, Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons, and every student at the school participates in their chosen programs. Some truly enthusiastic students choose to be in all four. Some even supplement this with private lessons or dance in the evenings. This model arts student does just that.
