Dance
The Sport Dance Program is open to students of all ages. No matter if you have never stepped foot in a dance studio, or you have danced since before you learned to walk—Brentwood Sport Dance has a place for you. The program’s aim is to promote a life-long love of dance and of being physically active. The program is available in all three terms, with options in competitive or non-competitive dance. Students in this program will learn ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip-hop, and tap—in addition to strength and flexibility classes. Interested dancers will have opportunities to compete at local events, to take auditions, prepare and take dance examinations, and to work with dance professionals within the community. All dance students can perform at Brentwood’s annual showcase—the Evening of Dance—and take trips to watch professional dancers at work.
